27.5" wheel bikes, explained.
27.5" (650b) wheels are the modern mountain-bike sweet spot: quicker-handling than a 29er, faster-rolling than a 26. If you ride tighter, twistier trails — or you’re under about 5’10" — 27.5 is usually the better-balanced choice.
Frame size still comes first: our 27.5 bikes run from 14" to 19" frames.
