Claud Butler Haste 1.0 Mountain Bike, Large (19")

The Haste is the value end of Claud Butler's mountain bike range, built for mixed terrain — trails, towpaths, bridleways and the ride to get to them. The 1.0 keeps things simple and hard-wearing, with a 3x7 drivetrain giving a genuinely wide gear range and a lockout fork you can firm up for the road sections.

Who it fits

Large 19" frame on 650B wheels. As a general guide that suits most riders around 5'10" to 6'2", with 17" Medium and 15" Small below it. Send us your height and inside leg and we'll confirm which frame to order.

What you're getting

• Gears: Shimano Tourney 3x7 with Rapid-fire shifters — 21 ratios, so there's always something low enough for a steep pull
• Brakes: 160mm mechanical disc, consistent in the wet and simple to adjust at home
• Fork: 80mm travel with lockout — firm for tarmac, open for rough ground
• Geometry: slacker head angle, longer top tube and shorter head tube than the previous model, with 720mm bars and a 60mm stem for better off-road control
• Wheels and tyres: 650B double-wall rims with fast-rolling WTB Ranger tyres

Stepping up: the Haste 2.0 adds Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and a 2x8 Altus drivetrain.

Delivery and build

Free UK mainland delivery. Bikes ship boxed and part-assembled as standard. Add our professional build and safety check at checkout and a qualified mechanic assembles, adjusts and safety-checks the bike before it leaves — a real workshop job, and entirely optional.
