Returns and refunds

New bikes: 90-day returns

You can return a new bike within 90 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Trying the bike is fine, including a short test ride to check that it fits.

To start a return, contact us at hello@discountedbikesshropshire.co.uk or on 07779 099012. We'll confirm the collection cost and arrange for the bike to be picked up. Please don't send a bike back without contacting us first.

Unless the bike is faulty, damaged on arrival or not what you ordered, you pay the collection cost. We'll deduct it from your refund.

The bike must be complete and in good condition. Please repack it in its original box if you can. If it has been damaged or has more wear than a short test ride would cause, we may reduce your refund to reflect its lost value. We'll tell you the amount before making the deduction.

Used bikes

The 90-day return period doesn't apply to used (pre-owned) bikes. Your right to cancel and your rights if a bike is faulty, damaged or incorrect still apply, as set out below.

Parts, accessories and clothing: 30-day returns

You can return these items within 30 days of delivery if they're unused and in their original packaging. Contact us first and we'll tell you where to send them. You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

We can't accept returns of personalised or made-to-order items unless they're faulty.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please check your order on arrival and tell us straight away if there's a problem. We'll put it right and cover any return cost. This policy doesn't affect your legal rights.

Your right to cancel

You can also cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. If you do, we'll refund what you paid, including the cost of standard delivery. You pay the cost of returning the item. Our Terms and Conditions explain this right in full.

Exchanges

The quickest way to exchange an item is to return it and place a new order. If you'd like to swap a bike, contact us and we'll help you choose the right one.

Refunds

We'll inspect your return and let you know the outcome. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the item. Your bank may take a few more days to process it.
