Why buy pre-owned here
These are proper bikes, not clear-outs. Carbon road bikes with electronic shifting, gravel bikes, e-bikes, most of them barely or never used. Here's the deal:
The depreciation is already paid. A carbon bike loses a big chunk of its value the day it leaves the shop. Someone else took that hit. Same frame, same groupset, same ride, a lot less money.
The photos are the actual bike. Every listing is one individual bike in one size, photographed as it really is. No stock images.
Every listing tells you where the bike is and who has checked it. Warehouse stock is fully checked before dispatch. Owner-listed bikes are clearly marked, with viewings recommended first.
When it's gone, it's gone. One bike, one size, one chance. If your size comes up at the right price, don't sit on it.
Know exactly what you're buying
Every bike here carries a condition grade, stated plainly on its listing. No vague "good condition" waffle. Here's what the grades mean:
Unboxed, but never ridden
Removed from the box, often for photography or display, but never used. Effectively a new bike without the new-bike price.
Ridden, honestly described
A previous owner and real miles, listed with its history, honest condition notes and detailed photos. Often the biggest savings of all, and on many you can arrange a viewing and test ride before you decide.
Where your bike comes from, and who has checked it
Our pre-owned bikes come from three places. Every listing tells you which:
Shrewsbury warehouse
In stock with us. Fully checked before dispatch, sent boxed by insured courier, or collect from us by arrangement.
Birmingham warehouse
Our nearly-new stock. Unboxed but never ridden, fully checked before dispatch and delivered direct to your door.
With its current owner
Listed for a private owner and still at their home. Described from the owner's information and photos, not mechanically inspected by us. Arrange a viewing before you buy, then collect it yourself or we'll book an insured bike courier.

You're still the one selling it, but through a proper shop instead of a marketplace ad. We vet every listing, agree the fee up front, handle the buyer questions and filter out the time-wasters. The bike stays with you until it sells. And if you're local to Shrewsbury and the bike's right, we may buy it from you outright instead, cash agreed there and then.
Send us the details in the form. Make, model, year, condition and the price you want. If it's an e-bike, tell us the mileage. We'll come back to you, usually the same day, and ask for photos.
We agree the fee before anything happens. A straight listing fee, agreed up front. No percentages, no charge if we don't think we can sell it, and we'll tell you honestly if we think your price is wrong.

The small print, in plain English
Warehouse stock (Shrewsbury & Birmingham): sold by Discounted Bikes with a full pre-dispatch check. Your normal consumer rights apply, and each listing states any remaining manufacturer warranty.
Owner-listed bikes: sold on behalf of a private seller. Listings are prepared from the owner's information and photographs; Discounted Bikes has not mechanically inspected these bikes and cannot warrant their condition, service history or mileage beyond what is stated. They are sold as described by the owner, with no dealer warranty. We strongly recommend viewing the bike (and, where offered, test riding it) before purchase, and having any bike professionally checked before first ride. Where we arrange courier delivery, the bike travels insured, but it is dispatched from the owner in the condition seen.
