16" is the most popular kids’ size we sell — the first "proper bike" for ages roughly 4 to 6 (105–120cm). Nearly all are single speed with child-sized brake levers, which is exactly right: fewer things to think about while confidence grows.
From budget heritage models around £140 to the 6.3kg Squish 16, the range rewards going as light as the budget allows.
Sizing
Both feet flat on the floor at the lowest saddle setting. If between sizes, size down for confidence.
Who it suits
16" wheels typically suit ages 4–6 — but height beats age every time. When in doubt, measure.
