Falcon Explorer Hybrid Bike, 26" Grey/Blue

A city hybrid built on 26" wheels rather than the usual 700c, which means slightly wider semi-slick tyres and a more forgiving ride over broken tarmac and rough towpaths. Rack and mudguards fitted as standard, six gears, and very little to go wrong.

Who it fits

Suitable for an inside leg measurement of 73–90cm (29–35"). Measure from the floor to the crotch with shoes off — more reliable than height alone. If you'd prefer a step-through frame, the Falcon Expression is the low step equivalent.

What you're getting

• Frame: traditional steel hybrid frame and forks for a settled, comfortable ride
• Gears: indexed 6-speed with a single-handed grip shift and Shimano rear derailleur — simple to use, enough range for all but the steepest hills
• Wheels and tyres: strong lightweight alloy wheels with 26" semi-slick tyres, smooth-rolling but still grippy
• Fitted as standard: front and rear PET acrylic mudguards that resist knocks, plus a heavy-duty steel rear luggage rack
• Comfort: padded Falcon saddle and soft-compound grips

The rack is worth more than it sounds — panniers beat a rucksack on any ride over a couple of miles.

Why we can price like this

We're an authorised Falcon dealer — but we don't run a shop.

No showroom. No shop floor. No stock sitting in a warehouse depreciating. Your bike is picked and dispatched from the manufacturer's own facility and comes straight to your door.

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the ticket price. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to pay for them.

What you don't lose: full manufacturer warranty, because we're an authorised dealer and not a grey importer. A real person to talk sizing through with before you order.
