Dawes Cambridge Heritage Bike, 19/26" Plum

The Dawes Duchess is one of the most recognisable British bikes ever built. The Cambridge takes that template — the swept lines, the upright position, the rattan basket — and rebuilds it at a price that doesn't ask you to treat it as an heirloom. This is the plum finish, the deeper and more understated of the two.

Who it fits

19" step-through frame on 26" wheels. As a general guide that suits most riders around 5'7" to 6'0", with the 17" frame below it. Send us your height and inside leg and we'll confirm before you order.

What you're getting

• Frame: step-through heritage design, so you can ride it in a skirt or work clothes without a second thought
• Riding position: upright and relaxed, built for comfort over distance rather than speed

Delivery and build

Free UK mainland delivery. Bikes ship boxed and part-assembled as standard. Add our professional build and safety check at checkout and a qualified mechanic assembles, adjusts and safety-checks the bike before it leaves — a real workshop job, and entirely optional.
