Falcon Neutron 24" Mountain Bike

The 24" full suspension bike for a rider who's outgrown their first geared bike and wants to keep up off-road. Three chainrings at the front give a genuinely wide gear range — low enough for a steep climb, high enough to pedal down the other side rather than freewheel.

Who it fits

24" wheels, suitable for children aged roughly 9 to 12 with an inside leg measurement of 53–60cm (21–25"). Measure from the floor to the crotch with shoes off. This is usually the last bike before an adult frame.

What you're getting

• Frame design: uninterrupted suspension layout rather than an old-style ‘Y’ frame — stronger, and it takes a longer seatpost so the bike lasts through a growth spurt
• Suspension: front fork and rear shock with spring rates chosen for a junior rider's weight
• Gears: 3x6 with Shimano rear derailleur and Revoshift shifter — 18 ratios for hills and descents
• Brakes: front and rear V-brakes with reach-adjustable levers for smaller hands
• Room to grow: 250mm seatpost, saddle adjustable fore and aft, adjustable quill stem
• Wheels: lightweight alloy rims with knobbly MTB tyres

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the price you pay. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to cover them.

Delivery and build

Free UK mainland delivery. Bikes ship boxed and part-assembled as standard. Add our professional build and safety check at checkout and a qualified mechanic assembles, adjusts and safety-checks the bike before it leaves — a real workshop job, and entirely optional. A front derailleur needs setting up properly, so this one is worth taking.
