Dawes Venture 2.0 EQ Low Step Hybrid Bike, Medium (18.5")

Mudguards and a rear pannier rack fitted from the factory, a 3x7 gear range, and a full step-through frame. The Venture 2.0 EQ Low Step is about as practical as a bike gets — ready for the commute, the shops and the school run straight out of the box.

Who it fits

Medium 18.5" low step frame. As a general guide that suits most riders around 5'5" to 5'10", with the 16.5" Small below it. The low step frame is the one to choose if you ride in everyday clothes, or have any hip, knee or back restriction.

What you're getting

• Gears: Shimano Tourney 3x7 — a wide spread for climbing and cruising alike
• Brakes: alloy V-brakes — reliable, easy to adjust and cheap to maintain
• Frame: lightweight aluminium, full low step design with relaxed geometry
• Fitted as standard: full mudguards and a rear pannier rack
• Comfort: swept-back handlebars, ergonomic grips and a padded saddle

Worth knowing: the Venture 1.0 Low Step is the simpler, cheaper option — one chainring, six gears, and bosses for mudguards and a rack rather than having them fitted.

Why we can price like this

We're an authorised Dawes dealer — but we don't run a shop.

No showroom. No shop floor. No stock sitting in a warehouse depreciating. Your bike is picked and dispatched from the manufacturer's own facility and comes straight to your door.

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the ticket price. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to pay for them.

What you don't lose: full manufacturer warranty, because we're an authorised dealer and not a grey importer. A real person to talk sizing through with before you order.
