Built to race, tough enough to trust

The Crossmachine CX01 was designed with one job in mind: going fast over mud, grass, roots and barriers. BMC developed the frame using its ACE (Accelerated Composites Evolution) process, computer-testing thousands of combinations of geometry, tube shape and carbon lay-up to find the best balance of stiffness and comfort.

Massive down tube and bottom bracket – every watt goes into the ground when you sprint out of a corner or attack a run-up.
Tapered steerer and reinforced head tube – sharp, confident steering through tight, slippery turns.
Slim dropped seat stays and sculpted chainstays – take the sting out of rough ground so you stay fresh for the final lap.
Beautifully finished frame – the angular tube profiles and red detailing make this one of the best-looking cross bikes BMC has built.

SRAM Force 1 – made for the mud

SRAM's single-ring Force 1 groupset evolved from its cyclocross-specific CX1, and it's in its element here. No front derailleur means less to clog, less to go wrong and simpler shifting when you're on the limit. Hydraulic disc brakes give powerful, consistent stopping in the wet, and quick-release wheels keep pit-lane wheel swaps fast.
