Dawes Scenic Crossbar Electric Hybrid Bike, Dark Metallic Grey, Medium (17")

The Scenic is Dawes' stripped-back commuter e-bike — integrated battery, disc brakes, mudguards and rack fitted as standard, and none of the clutter you don't need on a town ride.

Who it fits

Medium (17") crossbar frame, recommended for riders 5'4" to 5'10" (162–178cm). If you're 5'10" or taller, take the Large — identical build, longer frame. Prefer a step-through? The Scenic Low Step is the same bike with an easier-access frame.

What you're getting

• Motor: Bafang rear hub, 32Nm torque, 5 power modes plus walk assist
• Battery: 375Wh integrated into the frame, up to 40 miles / 64km, full charge in 5 hours, removable with keys and key-locked
• Gears and brakes: Shimano Altus 1x7 with trigger shifter, cable disc brakes that keep working in the wet
• Tyres: Innova Roadrunner 700x45c with puncture protection
• Comfort: Selle Royal Freeway saddle, ergonomic lock-on grips
• Fitted as standard: pannier rack, full-length mudguards, kickstand

Why we can price like this

We're an authorised Dawes dealer — but we don't run a shop.

No showroom. No shop floor. No stock sitting in a warehouse depreciating. Your bike is picked and dispatched from the manufacturer's own facility and comes straight to your door.

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the ticket price. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to pay for them.

What you don't lose: full manufacturer warranty, because we're an authorised dealer and not a grey importer. A real person to talk sizing through with before you order.
