Dawes 20" Bullet HT Kids Mountain Bike, Red

A junior mountain bike with a dirt-style frame, six gears and a suspension fork — the point at which a child's bike stops being just transport and starts being fun on rough ground.

Who it fits

20" wheels, approximate age range 6 to 8. Dawes design these frames with generous stand over clearance, which matters more than it sounds: being able to put both feet down flat is what gives a child the confidence to keep riding. Send us their height and inside leg and we'll confirm the size.

What you're getting

• Frame: light alloy dirt-style frame with good stand over clearance
• Gears: 6 speed Shimano — enough for hills without being complicated
• Fork: front suspension, so kerbs, grass and trails don't jar
• Wheels: 20" alloy

Also available: the Paris HT 20" is the same bike in different colours. The Bullet HT 24" is the next size up.

Why we can price like this

We're an authorised Dawes dealer — but we don't run a shop.

No showroom. No shop floor. No stock sitting in a warehouse depreciating. Your bike is picked and dispatched from the manufacturer's own facility and comes straight to your door.

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the price you pay. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to cover them.

What you don't lose: full manufacturer warranty, because we're an authorised dealer and not a grey importer. A real person to talk sizing through with before you order.
