Boss Stealth 20 Mountain Bike

The Stealth is the best-selling bike in the Boss range, and this is the 20" version built for younger riders. Front and rear suspension, disc brakes at both ends and mudguards fitted — a genuinely well-equipped first mountain bike rather than a toy with knobbly tyres.

Who it fits

Suitable for an inside leg measurement of 51–64cm (20–25"). Measure from the floor to the crotch with shoes off — it's a far better guide than age or height for a child's bike. If they're near the top of that range, the Stealth 24 will give them longer before they outgrow it.

What you're getting

• Gears: 6 speed Shimano — enough range to learn on without overwhelming a young rider
• Brakes: front and rear disc brakes, which keep working when the rims are wet or muddy
• Suspension: front fork always active, plus an adjustable rear unit so you can dial in how much give it has

Delivery and build

Free UK mainland delivery. Bikes ship boxed and part-assembled as standard. Add our professional build and safety check at checkout and a qualified mechanic assembles, adjusts and safety-checks the bike before it leaves — a real workshop job, and entirely optional. On a child's bike with disc brakes it's worth having done properly.
