Giro Scamp Kids Cycle Helmet, Matte Blue/Lime - XS 45-49cm (Age 1-4)

The Giro Scamp is the helmet parents reach for when a little one starts riding properly – light enough that they forget it's on, and built with the same in-mould construction Giro uses on its adult helmets. This one comes in matte blue with a lime retro Giro logo.

Who it fits

Size XS fits head circumferences of 45–49cm, which typically suits children aged around 1 to 4 on balance bikes, first pedal bikes or in a child seat. Measure just above the eyebrows and ears – if your child is between sizes, the dial fit system takes up the slack.

What you're getting

• Giro Scamp youth helmet, size XS (45–49cm), matte blue/lime
• In-mould construction – polycarbonate outer shell fused to an impact-absorbing EPS liner
• Polycarbonate lower shell to protect the edges from knocks and scuffs
• Roc Loc Junior fit system – simple rear dial designed around children's head shapes
• Large vents to keep heads cool on warm days
• Pinch-guard buckle and adjustable side straps
• Certified to EN 1078

Why we can price like this

This is the previous-generation Scamp, superseded by the Scamp II. The protection, fit system and quality are the same Giro standard – you're simply buying the earlier design, which is why it's priced so sharply.
