Concord College Bundle — Claud Butler Haste 1.0
Free UK delivery · 90-day returns
The Claud Butler Haste 1.0 — a step up from the Edge HT with a tougher frame, better drivetrain and front suspension. For students who want more comfort on longer rides and the option to take the bike off-road on gentler trails around Acton Burnell.
Who it fits
Suits students from around 5'2" tall and up. Three crossbar sizes (15", 17", 19") covering shorter Year 10s through tall sixth-formers.
About this bike
Aluminium hardtail frame with a suspension fork up front for soaking up bumps, 24-speed Shimano gearing for broader hill-climbing range, and mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping in wet weather. A noticeable step up from the Edge HT.

Sizing guide
Use your child's height to pick the right frame size. If they're between sizes, size up for comfort — an inch of extra reach is easier to live with than a frame that's too small.
| Frame size | Rider height |
|---|---|
| 15" | rider 5'2"–5'5" / 158–165cm |
| 17" | rider 5'5"–5'9" / 165–175cm |
| 19" | rider 5'9"–6'1" / 175–185cm |
Helmet sizing
| Size | Head circumference |
|---|---|
| S/M | 54–58 cm |
| L/XL | 58–61 cm |
Measure your child's head at the widest point, roughly 2 cm above the eyebrows and around the back. If you don't have a tape measure, S/M is the safe default — the internal dial adjusts the fit.
Still not sure which size to pick? Email us at hello@discountedbikesshropshire.co.uk with your child's height and we'll recommend. If a size doesn't fit when your child collects the bike, we can swap it at no cost.
Buy-back scheme
Every bike sold under this partnership carries a buy-back commitment for when your child leaves Concord. Subject to a Bike Doctor condition check at end-of-year. The helmet, lock, lights and starter kit stay with your child.
| When your child leaves | We pay back (bike RRP £474.99) |
|---|---|
| Within 12 months | 45% — £214 |
| 12 – 24 months | 35% — £166 |
