Who it fits

18" crossbar frame. As a general guide that suits most riders around 5'6" to 5'10", with 20" and 22" frames above it. Send us your height and inside leg and we'll confirm which to order.

What you're getting

• Gears: Shimano 18 speed with Revoshift twist shifters and a 48/38/28T chainset — the 28T bottom ring gives a genuinely low gear for hills
• Brakes: V-brakes, easy to adjust and cheap to maintain
• Fork: suspension up front for comfort on rough tarmac and towpaths
• Frame and wheels: lightweight alloy frame on double-wall rims

Worth knowing: the Explorer 1.0 EQ is the same bike with full-length mudguards and a 20kg rear carrier already fitted.

A traditional bike shop has to cover premises, staff and stockholding before it makes a penny, and that has to come out of the ticket price. We don't carry those costs, so we're not asking you to pay for them.

What you don't lose: full manufacturer warranty, because we're an authorised dealer and not a grey importer. A real person to talk sizing through with before you order. And the option of a professional build so it arrives ready to ride.

Delivery and build

Free UK mainland delivery. Bikes ship boxed and part-assembled as standard. Add our professional build and safety check at checkout and a qualified mechanic assembles, adjusts and safety-checks the bike before it leaves — a real workshop job, and entirely optional.
