Description

With a stiff but comfortable carbon frameset that also has an aerodynamically tuned silhouette, the Cervelo S-Series Disc Road Bike possesses a multifaceted character that is set to perform in sprints, up climbs or on solo dashes away from the pack.

The world championship-winning S-Series is back — and even better than before. Combine proven S Series aero performance with the cutting-edge stiffness and lightweight design that comes from Cervelo's Project California research facility, and you get what Ride Magazine has called “quite possibly The Perfect Bike.” The S-Series is ready to put the hurt on a “friendly” Saturday morning ride, or just get you to the coffee shop a little faster. Stiffer, better-riding, aero as ever. All with zero weight penalty.

The advanced carbon construction of the frameset is bolstered in critical areas to heighten pedalling stiffness and to grant precise handling while remaining lightweight. The resulting lively climbing sensation and nimble cornering are complemented by the aerodynamic efficiency of the sculpted frameset tube sections. Gear cables and brake hoses are entirely hidden inside the stem and frame to keep them out of the wind and to give a super-slick aesthetic.

One AER wheels use their 50mm deep, aero-tuned carbon rims to carve through the air while remaining stable and controllable in crosswind riding scenarios. These wheels are also light and stiff to afford snappy accelerations and consistent climbing speeds. The SRAM AXS electronic configuration changes through its gear ratios with accuracy and dependability while confidence-inspiring stopping power is afforded, even in the wet, by the matching hydraulic disc brakes.

HIGHLIGHTS:
• A truly versatile bike that performs whether sprinting, climbing or on a solo break
• The high-grade carbon frameset construction gives stiffness in critical areas for pedalling efficiency and precise handling
• Aerodynamically chiselled frame tube sections smooth the airflow and lower drag markedly
• Hidden gear cables and brake hoses through the stem and into the frame further improve aerodynamic performance
• Carbon wheels are light, responsive and have aerodynamically tuned rim profiles
• SRAM AXS electronic 12-speed gear setup is extremely accurate and dependable
• SRAM AXS hydraulic disc brakes are powerful and modulated

Condition

The bike is in excellent condition and has hardly been used by the previous owner. Mechanically it's flawless with smooth shifts, strong braking and smooth bearings all round.

Pre-owned bike

This is a pre-owned bike. It has been thoroughly inspected and serviced by experienced technicians, and is fully functional and ready to ride. As with any used bike, it may show minor signs of wear or small cosmetic marks. We aim to show these clearly in the photos and describe each bike accurately. If you'd like more photos or help checking the size, just get in touch.

It comes with a 3-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Wear-and-tear items such as tyres, brake pads and cables are not covered. Neither are cosmetic marks or damage caused by accidents, misuse or modifications.
