Alpina Haarlem Helmet Grey 57 - 61cm
Stripped to the essentials: safety and style. The asymmetrical design, the inmold construction and a guardian angel inside the ALPINA HAARLEM makes every ride through a city an experience β a safe one. With asymmetrical air vents on the front, matt plain colours and large ventilation openings at the top that form a guardian angel with the padding inside, the picture is complete. To ensure the ALPINA HAARLEM can be adjusted perfectly to the head, the Run System Ergo Flex+ is integrated. The size can be adjusted nearly infinitely with a fine adjustment system via a dial. The urban helmet is manufactured using the inmold procedure, with which the Hi-EPS inner shell under the outer shell is foamed under high pressure and heat. The result is a helmet both lightweight and secure β for relaxed rides through the city.
- Durable outer shell thanks to the 3 shell construction
- Individual helmet adjustment thanks to tilting adjustment system on back of head
- Easy-to-operate belt buckle with a twist-proof, multi-step automatic buckle
- Low weight thanks to the inmold production where the upper shell is thermally connected with the Hi-EPS
- Optimal impact-absorption thanks to Hi-EPS material made of microscopic air chambers
Airflow Venting: One factor that greatly influences comfort when wearing is the ventilation of the helmet. The strategically sensible arrangement of the vents is crucial for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is directed into the interior, guided around the head and can flow out again at the back. The head is therefore comfortably air-conditioned at all times.
Ceramic Shell: Β All Alpina helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.
Custom Fit: Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several steps. This allows the optimal fit of the helmet to be adjusted for a wide variety of head shapes. Pressure marks are a thing of the past, the helmet sits perfectly on the head and safety is improved.
Ergomatic: Proven a hundred thousand times over and used on all Alpina helmets: the strap buckle with the red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically.
Hi-EPS: The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes.
Inmold: In the inmould production process, the polycarbonate upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under intense heat and pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
Run System Ergo+: The Run System enables all Alpina helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. The valuable Run System Ergo+ has two large wing-shaped head supports that make it comfortable to wear. The difference from the Run System Ergo Pro: the head supports do not have rubber coating.
Run System Ergo Flex: The Run System enables all Alpina helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. The Run System Ergo Flex is the lightest, most comfortable adjustment system offered by Alpina. The delicate design clings evenly to the head and thus increases protection. The Run System Ergo Flex can be adjusted using fine increments β thereβs no helmet more lightweight, more comfortable or with a more custom fit.
Y-Clip: A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixing of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role. The Y-clip system ensures a millimetre-accurate adjustment - in a matter of seconds.
